During a recent interview, Rick Ross responded about the line from his 2017 song, “Apple Of My Eye” where he said he told Meek Mill he should’ve never trusted her while feuding with Drake.

During his interview with The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God asks about a text that Ross sent Meek calling Nicki “a keeper” after they had all met with then-president Barack Obama.

“If someone is going to meet Obama, then yeah she’s a keeper until you find out otherwise,” Ross says. “She was playing a very important position being between Meek and Drake at the time…it would be easy to assume that she had something to do with that [feud] and if they say they didn’t, they’re lying.”

It has been a monumental year for Meek Mill. He was released from jail and has been an advocate for prisoners without a voice. To start a new year, he got to celebrate his 32nd birthday on Sunday night.

A star-studded gathering went down in West Hollywood.

Rick Ross, Future, Ty Dolla $ign, YG, DJ Mustard and more attended the party.

Meek thanked everyone for their support and toasted to his album Championships as well as the launch of the REFORM Alliance to fight for prison reform.

An aspiring rapper tried to hold up a Wingstop because he wanted to get owner Rick Ross’ attention, according to new reports.

Police arrested Memphis hip-hop hopeful Cedric Miller, 23, for the Friday night attempted robbery on Monday.

Miller told police he was just trying to get on the rap mogul’s radar, the store’s manager told WREG.

Miller and another guy allegedly held the wing joint up at gunpoint, but left empty-handed after they failed to open the register, WREG reported at the time.

Embarrassing! SMH

Ladies Of 'The Real' On 'Extra'

Fresh off the heels of a massive winter storm on the east coast, celebs like Tamar BraxtonSnoop Dogg and Rick Ross have still managed to keep things hot this week.

The closer we get to the warmer weather and outside vibes of Spring, the more it seems that things are popping off in Hollywood. Like birthday girl Tamar Braxton who not only an went on an Instagram rant after hearing rumors that her husband Vince had a child outside of their marriage, but she stopped by the Wendy Williams Show to clear up the accusation — and to throw a little shade at her former co-host on The Real, Tamera Mowry-Housley.

This week has also been huge for hip hop beefs to come to the forefronts. On his new album Rather You Than Me, which is available now, Rick Ross called out his former friend Birdman for not paying Lil Wayne the money he owes him, and even dissed Nicki Minaj in his song “Apple of My Eye,” saying that he told Meek Mill that the Young Money rapper wasn’t to be trusted.

If you think that’s juicy, check out some more celebs who set the week ablaze.

Rick Ross Reveals His Last Words To Meek Mill Before He And Nicki Minaj Split

BET Hip Hop Awards 2012 - Audience and Show

This is the year of hip hop beefs.

Fresh off the explosion that was Remy Ma vs Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross is now revealing his own feelings about the Queens rapper. The boss is pulling all the stops for his new album Rather You Than Me, which includes calling out his former industry friends like Birdman and Nicki. On the track, “Apple of My Eye,” Ross talks about Meek Mill‘s relationship with Minaj.

He rapped, “I told Meek I wouldn’t trust Nicki. Instead of beefing with your dog you just give him some distance.” However, Ross is not the first person to blame Nicki for Meek’s beef with Drake. In her diss track “ShETHER“, Remy included that speculation in the song, rapping, “We all know it was a beef that you started.” Just last week, Meek actually confirmed Ross’ statement by posting a photo on Instagram of him and Ross. He captioned the pic, “Rozay been told me don’t trust you.”

Rick Ross Drags Birdman In Epic New Song

Rick Ross Birthday Celebration

Rick Ross seems like he’s been holding in a lot when it comes to Cash Money co-founder, Birdman. A new track shows he’s finally ready to speak.

In a track called “Idols Become Rivals” from his upcoming release Rather You Than Me, the Maybach Music Group founder calls out Birdman on his disloyal history. He even seems to compare his once comrade to an abusive priest, rapping, “Rap game, so much f*ck sh*t done / That’s why this .45 in my Trukfit trunks / F)ck a skateboard, I went and got a Wraith, boy / Catholic record labels, ni**as gettin’ raped, boy / Birdman’s a priest, moans in his synagogue / Publishin’ is a sin, repent, forgive me, Lord.”

Rick Ross further shows support for Lil Wayne and other artists who have accused Birdman of withholding money from them. Ross raps, “I pray you find the kindness in your heart for Wayne / His entire life, he gave you what there was to gain / I watched this whole debacle so I’m part to blame / Last request, can all producers please get paid?”

Ross even defends DJ Khaled, who supposedly had issues with Birdman. Ross adds at the end of his song, “What hurt me the most, ni**a, is how you did my brother Khaled, ni**a.” Ross continues, “Khaled was loyal to you, ni**a /The pain I seen in my brother’s eye, ni**a / FaceTimin’ my ni**a. Ni**a, he took that to the chin, ni**a / That’s why my ni**a blessed / That’s why my ni**a Khaled blessed / You put my ni**a in the hole, homie.”

It appears Lil Wayne supports Ross’ revelations. When Ross gave Weezy a shoutout on Instagram, Lil Wayne retweeted it.

This could be the start of another very public rap business beef. Birdman has yet to respond, but you can listen to Rick Ross’ full track over here. You can also listen to the full Rather You Than Me album when it drops on Friday.

Here’s How Lira Galore Feels About Her Sex Tape Leaking

Another day, another “leaked” sex tape.

Lira Galore is the latest model to have their personal sex sessions uploaded to the Internet for the world to see. After graphic images and video of Lira and a guy being intimate hit social media on Friday, Rick Rossformer girlfried took to Twitter:

Multiple sites reported that it was NBA free agent Lance Stephenson who Lira was caught in the video hooking up with, but the model put an end to those rumors in a lengthy IG post. She captioned the open letter, Women being sexual is NOTHING NEW (recorded or not). What is new is the wave of people “exposing” others intimate moments eternally for momentary satisfaction. That’s weak. Update THAT’S NOT LANCE. And your blogs got it wrong.”

Ms. Galore isn’t the only one to recently have explicit photos and videos of herself hit the Internet. Fellow IG models India Love and Alexis Skyy have both dealt with similar situations in the last few months.

Iyanla Vanzant can’t fix this one, Lira.

Wale was knee deep in some Thanksgiving turkey yesterday and the Bawse took notice.

The MMG rapper had mouths everywhere drooling when he posted a photo of his friend’s bird – it came out so good, he had to brag. Wale said of the turkey, “He marinated my bird for 48 hours and now it’s going to taste like it was marinated in tears of joy from angels and sunkissed by The Gods.”

Being the wordsmith he is, Rick Ross couldn’t help but share his complex opinion of the bird. “Dam dat bitch look astounding,” he wrote under the photo. Our thoughts exactly, Bawse.

Fighting Words: Erykah Badu Says She’d Whoop Rick Ross!

Rick Ross is in the gym looking like the young Mike Tyson. The MMG CEO has been dropping the pounds of late with a hard workout schedule. DJ Akademiks got his hands on some footage of Ross boxing in the gym.

Rozay’s footwork is good, the power seems hard, and he has hand speed for a big man. Still, that didn’t stop badass Erykah Badu from throwing her name in as a challenger for Ricky Rozay.

She piggy-backed off the footage, tweeting.

Badu has special powers and we don’t doubt her one bit. She has that effect on men.

Boss Problems: Rick Ross Owes The IRS Millions Of Dollars In Back Taxes

BET Hip Hop Awards 2012 - Audience and Show

Source: Rick Diamond / Getty

The biggest boss now has to answer to a boss even bigger than him.

According to reports, Rick Ross owes about $5.7 million in back taxes from 2012 to 2014. The MMG CEO owes more than $4.6 million in 2012 alone, and then $570,000 2013 and 2014. The federal government has reportedly issued a tax lien, and if Rozay doesn’t pay up, they could potentially repo all his stuff to pay off his debts.

Another boss who knows a thing or two about owing the IRS money had something to say about Ross’ misfortunes. 50 Cent felt that this was the perfect time to poke fun at his arch nemesis. He commented under a photo of the Miami emcee, writing, “Nah, can’t be, oh yes, it can, Bye Bye.”

Rick Ross, who owns a 109-room mansion, has yet to publicly address his tax issue.

According to reports, the hip-hop stars were up on a rooftop in Atlanta shooting their vid for “Buy Back the Block” when several shots rang out, interrupting filming and causing the rappers to lay low for a bit. Sources say although the shots sounded close, they didn’t happen on the actual set, but at a nearby apartment complex.

The incident didn’t stop the rappers from sharing photos of their time on set. Everyone remained and finished the video.

Gucci and 2 Chainz even shook it all off by hitting up V Live Atlanta, along with rapper Young Dolph, and spending racks on the dancers.

Crisis averted.

Rick Ross Honors Shawty Lo On ‘I’m Da Man’ (NEW MUSIC)

Celebrity Sightings in New York City - September 11, 2016

Shawty Lo‘s impact on southern rap culture was tremendous. So its to be expected that artists will continue paying homage to the fallen artist.

Following Beyoncé‘s tribute the late D4L rapper at her Atlanta Formation stop last week, Rick Ross shared a new track which borrows the instrumentals of Shawty Lo’s “I’m Da Man.”

“One time for real ni**as like Lo,” Ross chants in the intro. “Doing this one for you, my ni**a.” Then, following his verse, Rozay adds: “My ni**a died, bless his soul.” The track ends with Shawty’s original verse. Listen to the song below:

On Friday (Sept. 30), friends and family gathered for Lo’s funeral, which made a pit stop at one of Lo’s favorite strip clubs, The Blue Flame. A “Shawty Lo Tribute” event with the remaining members of D4L is now scheduled to take place Oct. 7 as part of A3C.
