Some think that with Mother’s Day approaching he is still deeply mourning the loss of his ex-fiance, Kim Porter.

Diddy and his children were recently featured on the cover of Essence.

In the article he told the story of Kim sending the kids over to him when she was sick. She sent them to him so they wouldn’t get sick.

She told him, Puffy take care of my babies. He said those were the last words she spoke to him.

Instagram officially tests hiding Like counts

Instagram is testing out hiding the amount of likes that someone has on their post.

The person would be able to view everyone that liked their post, but would have to count them manually.

The social media website wants users to post based on their feelings and not by how many likes they receive.

Researchers are testing this new kind of Instagram in Canada.

After some controversial posts, Kodak Black has decided to deactivate his Instagram account.

There’s no word on why Kodak decided to go dark, but some of the posts about Onyx member Sticky Fingaz, Young M.A., and Lil Wayne could have something to do with it.

His team hasn’t spoken on the decision to go dark or when he could possibly be returning.

Say What? Weed Manicures Are The Hottest New Nail Trend

Medical marijuana and pill bottle

Marijuana can take on many forms theses days, from cupcakes to cookies to tea — but who knew that weed manicures would become a thing? To see what we’re talking about, watch the video below:

Photos of the trendy look are all over social media, grabbing the attention of stylish women and stoners alike. The pot-laced manicure has real bud sealed in with whatever topcoat you choose. Although the unorthodox style is pretty, people who aspire to rock the trend should always check if marijuana is legal in their state.

The good news is that only a small amount of pot is used in the manicure process, which means you get to keep the rest for yourself. It’s a win-win scenario! Of course, the manicure itself won’t get you high, unless you bite your nails.

Check out a how-to video of the trendy manicure above.

The Internet Lost Its Collective Mind Over White House Couch Photo Of Kellyanne Conway

Out of all the optics released from yesterday’s meeting between President Donald Trump and over 100 leaders of the nation’s historically black colleges and universities, there’s one that will never be forgotten.

The Trump administration called the meeting to discuss federal aid, student enrollment and corporate business opportunities, but the photo of Kellyanne Conway sitting with her feet on the oval office couch dominated the conversation on social media.

Folks wanted answers to one question: Why is she sitting on the oval office couch like that?

The conversations ranged from discussions about decorum and gender politics, while others thought it was much to do about nothing.

Then there were those who felt Conway’s actions cheapened the value of the meeting.

What do you think about the controversial photo? Sound off in the comments below!

Watch: Here’s Young Thug’s Response To Gay Rumors

They say you’re nobody in the music industry unless you get hit with the gay rumors – and Young Thug has definitely had his fair share of them.

The rapper took to social media to share an important message with his haters after being accused of being gay yet again. He said in the video, “It is I, Jeffery. The one that get the most hate, and they say gay, but is also the richest in the A.”

No word on what specific incident caused Thug to fire back at his haters. As you may recall, the eclectic emcee, who is currently in the UK opening for Drake on the 6 God’s Boy Meets World Tour, was hit with a load of gay accusations after posing in a gown for the cover of his latest album, Jeffery.

It’s Petty Season For Meek Mill After Nicki Minaj Announces Their Split

Meek Mill Hosts Album Release Party

Nicki Minaj took to Twitter on Thursday to announce that she and Meek Mill have called it quits after two years together.

Before the tweet could even fully make its way around the internet, Meek got in his petty bag and took to Instagram to troll followers after his split with the Barbie was announced. In one video, the Philly emcee was all smiles while rapping the lyrics to LL Cool J‘s “I Need Love.”

Then, his petty persona started to show after he posted (and deleted) a photo of the shoe Nicki wore in Ciara’s video “I’m Out” with the caption, “If you walk out don’t wear these they wack…”

It sounds like someone is in their feelings.

Do you think this is the end for Omeeka, or just a breakup to make up situation?

Are Nicki Minaj & Meek Mill Finally Really Over?

Celebrity Sightings In Los Angeles - June 28, 2016

Source: Prince Williams / Getty

Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have been pretty low-key about their relationship lately, considering the pair is usually known for posting all about their love on social media.

But judging by their social media absence and the fact they’ve spent time apart while in the same city, Omeeka may be no more. According to TMZ, both Nicki and Meek performed separately in Miami for New Year’s Eve, and they partied separately afterward. While the Queens queen hung out at E11even nightclub, her estranged boyfriend was just two miles down the road at Dream.

Sources close to the couple also revealed that the duo didn’t even spend Christmas together. Reports of the split come just after rumors surfaced that Meek cheated on Nicki and their relationship was just a publicity stunt.

The two have been dating since Meek was released from jail in 2014. Only time will tell if this is the official end of Omeeka.

Mannequin Challenge Leads To Arrest Of Alabama Criminals

There are certain news stories that are simply too outrageous to be believed and this one definitely falls right into that category. Making the rounds in today’s ridiculous news stories is one which involves a #MannequinChallenge gone terribly wrong.

A group of criminals in Alabama decided to participate in the hugely popular social media sensation known as the #MannequinChallenge and found themselves promptly arrested. Yes, this actually happened. Two Alabama men thought that it would be a good idea to join in the fun of the #MannequinChallenge by uploading a video of them aiming illegal guns in a frozen state to garner favorites and likes. What actually happened was the new jewelry they acquired in the form of handcuffs after they were arrested. The Root has the further details of this bizarre case that proves common sense isn’t so common these days.

Via The Root:

The Mannequin Challenge has jumped the shark, but I guess those in Alabama weren’t made aware of this as two men were arrested after video was posted showing them aiming guns. Kenneth Fennel White, 49, and Terry Brown, 23, were busted after being spotted in the heavily armed video, WHNT reports. Not sure if the video—which shows several men frozen in various phases of a shootout—was watched nearly 5 million times on Facebook because it was awesome, or because viewers couldn’t believe that the men would be so carelessly brazen. Nevertheless, the video went viral and drew the attention of police.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office got a warrant and searched the property after being tipped off to the video’s existence. “You have a lot of people with firearms at one address,” Capt. Mike Salmonsky told WHNT. “And you have to ask yourself the question, ‘Why?’”

Cops seized two handguns, an assault rifle and a shotgun, along with multiple rounds of ammunition. White, a convicted felon, was charged with first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a violent felon. Brown was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, loitering and promoting prison contraband, WHNT reports.

File this under “I’ll do anything for likes and attention.” Both of these men were caught simply because (like many others these days) they decided to tape themselves doing something stupid…and illegal. You can check out the VIDEO of the incident below:

Soulja Boy Goes On Bizarre Social Media Spree, Claps Back At Shia LaBeouf & Drops Migos Diss

2015 BET Hip Hop Awards - Arrivals

Source: Prince Williams / Getty

Soulja Boy is making sure that even after 10 years in the game, you still remember his name.

The rapper and former Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star spent most of his time on Monday evening taking shots at fellow Georgia rapper Quavo and his Migos clique. First, he posted a video to Instagram of himself in the studio, with an automatic gun in his hand and his diss track to the Atlanta hitmaker playing in the background.

He captioned the video, “F**k Quavo!!!!! @migos @quavohuncho,” sparking his evening long attention-seeking bout. The madness didn’t stop there; Soulja went on to upload a few posts showing an alleged convo between him and Quavo.

In the messages, both rappers go back and forth about the so-called beef and even made plans to meet up. But then, Soulja posted another message calling Quavo out, saying, “B***h a** n***a never pulled up diss song out now don’t make me leak the phone convo p***y.”

As if taking shots at Quavo wasn’t enough to fill his appetite for drama, Soulja even clapped back at Shia LaBeoufwho dissed him on a track last week. He posted a clip of himself listening to the actor’s diss freestyle and sounded off, calling his new nemesis a “b**tch a**” and even banning him from Atlanta.

But that didn’t end so well for Soulja. On Tuesday morning, Shia responded to the rapper with his third, and what he says is the last, freestyle of his short-lived rap career. Check out the Hat-Trick freestyle below:

Lil Wayne Claps Back At T.I. Blasting Him Over Black Lives Matter Comment

Lil Wayne

Source: Getty / Getty

Something weird has gotten into Lil Wayne.

The rapper, who once based a whole album around his experiences as a Black person in America following Hurricane Katrina, has made it obvious that he wants to remove himself from the narrative of Black Lives Matter, saying he doesn’t feel “connected to the movement” during a recent interview.

T.I. ripped the Young Money CEO on social media, writing, “I don’t know what you goin thru,or what you are attempting to avoid but this shit is absolutely unacceptable!!!! You’re disrespecting yourself, bringing shame on your family name & tarnishing your legacy.”

Wayne’s daughter, Reginae, commented under Tip’s post about her dad: “You should’ve copied and pasted this and sent it to him thru via text but u wanna seek for attention.”

Weezy finally took to social media to comment on the backlash he’s been receiving:

Although Wayne issued a pseudo apology for his Nightline interview, fans and colleagues are not letting his controversial comments go anytime soon.

Here’s Trick Daddy’s Response To The “Hoes” Who Didn’t Like His Comments About Black Women

'106 & Party' Taping

Trick Daddy will not let up!

After being slammed on social media for his degrading comments about black women, Trick returned to social media to share a message to the ladies who had an issue with his sexist statements.

Women on social media blasted the retired rapper for saying that black women need to “tighten up” before their White and Latina counterparts take their place in society. The Miami native took to Facebook to share how he felt about the backlash, saying, “real women know who they are, what they are and what they stand for SO F**K WHAT A RANDOM BITCH WITH TOO MUCH TIME ON HER HAND HAS TO SAY .. you hoes are followers.”

Judging by the backlash from his sexist comments and footage of him spitting at a camera due to a nasty comment from Facebook live, Trick Daddy may need to leave social media behind and realize that the Internet is undefeated every time.

Trick Daddy Tells Black Women To ‘Tighten Up’ Because White, Spanish Women Are Better

Second Annual Ozone Awards - Backstage And Show

As if Black women don’t get beat up on enough in the mainstream/white media, we also have to deal with the ridiculous logic and degrading opinions of some Black men—like Trick Daddy. The Miami rapper emerged from relative obscurity today to set social media aflame with his ridiculous ideas.

In a special Instagram post, Trick Daddy went on a rant about how Black women need to “tighten up” because white women and Spanish women are coming for our spot. Of course being a rapper who built his career on spewing derogatory lyrics about women, he didn’t use the term “women,” but instead referred to Black, white and Spanish women as “hoes.”

Perhaps the most disturbing and disgusting thing about the rant of a washed up, irrelevant rapper criticizing what Black women need to do is that he stated it with such confidence, in a matter-of-fact tone—as if he actually thinks we care about his opinion because he is a catch. *side eye*

Fortunately, the majority of social media collectively ripped him to shreds for his comments.Yet as Black women, we are unfortunately familiar with some Black men taking any opportunity they can to spew out the same logic as Trick Daddy. This is a part of a larger conversation, one that is becoming more frequent as numbers of women occupy frontline positions in the Black Lives Matter movement while some men continue to disrespect and disregard us in favor of women of other races.

You can check out Trick Daddy’s full rant BELOW and decide if he’s someone you should take advice from:

Here’s Why Shawty Lo’s Daughter Is Enraged With His Fans

Corner Store Magazine Launch Party & BET Hip Hop Awards After Party

Shawty Lo was finally laid to rest over the weekend after dying in a car accident two weeks ago.

The family welcomed the Atlanta public to the wake to view the body of the late star, but apparently fans crossed the line. Shawty Lo’s daughter took to Instagram, demanding people take down any photos they posted of the rapper lying in his casket.

One of his 11 children wrote, “ya’ll so disrespectful. We did say no pictures and opened it to the public but yall disrespected us. Now would we be wrong to have a private funeral?”

We’re sure fans did get a pic of the closed casket as it was taken to one of Shawty Lo’s favorite places, popular strip club Blue Flame Lounge, one last time.

RIP Shawty Lo.
