Wow! Suge Knight Finally Reveals Who Killed Tupac

The 7th Annual Soul Train Lady Of Soul Awards - Show

Suge Knight has been in prison so long that it’s starting to make him reveal some previously undisclosed information.

One of Knight’s deepest secrets is knowing who killed Tupac Shakur. The former Death Row CEO has finally revealed that he was in fact the real target in the drive by that killed Shakur. Suge claims that his ex-wife Sharitha and former Death Row Records security chief Reggie Wright Jr. killed Tupac in attempt to try to end his life.

Knight’s attorney attorney, Thaddeus Culpepper, wrote in a signed affidavit, that “Knight has known for many years that Reggie Wright Jr. and his ex-wife Sharitha were behind the murder of Tupac and attempted murder of Knight.” He added that Knight also had alleged details of Wright’s involvement in the Bigge Smalls murder case.

Apparently, Suge is speaking out now after hearing the “salient points” in the new documentary Tupac Assassination: Battle for Compton, which was directed by Richard Bond and Michael Douglas Carlin. Bond told the Daily Mail, “When our book came out and we were working on the movie, we gave the salient points of the book to Thaddeus Culpepper, who read them to Suge Knight. Suge’s initial response was, ‘Who the hell are these guys?””

A source added that Knight admitted to Culpepper that the theories in the movie were true. Suge was reportedly so intrigued by the film, he sent his private investigators to discover how the writers and directors found out about what happened. The documentary also claims that Suge had always been the real target of that fatal shooting. Tupac was just in the way.

Hopefully, justice one day be served for the tragic murder of the rap icon.

Snoop Dogg Will Induct Tupac Shakur Into 2017 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

In the very first year of eligibility, Tupac Shakur will be inducted into the newest class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and his former labelmate Snoop Dogg will induct him into the rarefied club.

Snoop, who collaborated with the late rapper on the 1996 All Eyez on Me‘s “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted,” has performed the song with a hologram of the iconic rapper.

Rolling Stone reports that the D-O-Double G has also taken credit for bringing Shakur to Death Row Records, run by Suge Knight. He has spoken about the late rapper’s genius.

“‘Pac brought a spirit to the studio that was different than anybody we ever worked with,” said Snoop, according to Rolling Stone. “He had a spirit – like this n–ga could be in three different rooms at one time makin’ music. He would never listen to it.”

2Pac will join Pearl Jam, Journey, Yes, Electric Light Orchestra and Joan Baez for the 2017 class. Chic’s Nile Rodgers will be given the Award For Musical Excellence.

The induction ceremony will be held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on April 7, 2017, and will later air on HBO.

It may be hard to believe that, although 20 years have passed, the murders of hip-hop icons Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls remain unsolved. Sure there have been dozens of conspiracy theories as to who murdered the two young artists, and changed the face of hip-hop in the process, but traditional investigations have continuously proved unsuccessful. And despite the amount of time that has passed, fans are still fascinated by the crimes.

And now, USA network, is hoping that TV audiences will be too.

Television’s true-crime phenomenon, led by the hugely successful FX hit The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, proved that there is definitely an audience for a series surrounding a real-life murder case. The deeper question is, perhaps, if hip-hop fans will tune in to USA’s new pilot titled Unsolved, which will attempt to dissect the murders of Tupac and Biggie Smalls over several episodes.

Via Deadline:

The pilot is being directed and executive produced by Anthony Hemingway, director/executive producer on the true crime series that sparked the current interest in the genre, FX’s “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.”

Written by Kyle Long (Suits), Unsolved, from Universal Cable Productions, is based on the experiences of former LAPD Detective Greg Kading, author of the book “Murder Rap: The Untold Story of Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations,” who led multiple law-enforcement task forces investigating the murders.

If properly casted, written and directed, this could actually be must-see TV. Clearly Pac and Biggie are still incredibly popular, with Shakur recently securing a nomination for the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

Jada Pinkett Smith Pens Heartfelt Message About Afeni Shakur’s Passing

Jada Pinkett Smith is mourning the loss of a woman she admired. The profound philanthropist posted a touching status about the passing of Afeni Shakur on Facebook.

Jada and Afeni’s late son, rapper Tupac, shared a deep connection growing up. In a 2015 interview with Howard Stern, Jada revealed,

“When you have two young people that have very strong feelings, but there was no physical chemistry between us at all, and it wasn’t even just for me! It was him too. There was a time when I was like, ‘Just kiss me! Let’s just see how this goes.’ When I tell you it had to be the most disgusting kiss for us both.”

She added,

“The only way I can put it is that the higher power did not want it at all. If Pac and I had any kind of sexual chemistry, we might have killed each other because we were both so passionate. And you know, we loved deeply,” she reflected. “It was hard enough with us just being friends. It was volatile relationship.”

We imagine this is a tough time for Jada as she grieves the death of both Afeni and Tupac.

High School Student Accused Of Dressing As Tupac In Blackface

A Black Day

Earlier today, Lamar High School was buzzing with activity as photos of two students photographed in blackface went viral. One of the students was dressed in a costume that was supposed to be Tupac Shakur. The picture of the student was taken at an off-campus party thrown by a sorority that has no official ties to the school.

Once the photo went viral on social media, some students were not happy with what they saw.

“I thought it was blackface and I was immediately offended,” said senior student Ogechi Anene to Click2Houston.com. “She was supposed to be Tupac. If you were to impersonate a black person even as a costume I don’t think it’s appropriate to wear black paint on your skin.”

Friends of the student that attended the party believe the reaction is being “blown out of proportion.” Wahid Faety, a student who attended the party, said “it was interpreted in a racist manor, which it wasn’t intended to be. And social media has a tendency to boost these things to make them go viral.”

Two younger black girls that offered comments on the situation felt the photo “was offensive” and were hurt. They also believe school officials should take action against the student in blackface “to let her know what she did wasn’t right.”
