Gucci Mane‘s lawyer says his client’s probation was revoked for failing to complete a court-mandated 600 hours of community service. Gucci has tested positive for marijuana and cocaine during visits to his probation officer and has not been obtaining proper permission to travel.
Attorney Dwight L. Thomas — who also represented T-I in his gun charge trial — tells M-T-V, “Yes, he didn’t do what he was supposed to have done, but he was going through emotional issues that obscured his ability to think straight. He never got therapy for the killing [of Henry Lee Clark].”
Thomas says Gucci is expected to be released by the first of the year, if not sooner.
